Gretchen Schisla + principal
Gretchen brings 30 years of experience to the graphic design profession. Being good listeners, thinkers & visual communicators are must-have traits at {SDS}. Overseeing the client, business and sales functions allow Gretchen the opportunity to sustain and grow a company with people and projects she believes in. Gretchen promotes "giving back" through her career involvement with AIGA and design education.
Kory Waschick + creative director
Working at {SDS} since it's inception, Kory has played a role in every project produced by the studio. She's always ready to brainstorm any idea at a moment's notice. Clever messaging, clean design, color and client satisfaction is what drives her the most. Kory has a vision to make a stronger design community. As a board member on the St. Louis Chapter of AIGA, she hopes her unique position will help fulfill this.
Bruce Sachs + designer / illustrator
Before arriving at {SDS}, Bruce freelanced as a graphic designer in LA, Boston, DC and St. Louis. He is happy setting type, designing logos, illustrating, and getting his hands dirty silk-screening posters. Bruce gets excited when he has to create something that {SDS} has never done before, such as an interactive PDF or an animated video with sound. Bruce also spends some of his weekly energy teaching graphic design at UMSL.
